This treatment uses cold technology known as cryo-lipolysis. The target chin area is suctioned between two cooling plates and cold energy is applied in a safe and controlled manner. The process crystallises and breaks down fat cells, which are then disposed naturally by your body’s metabolic and lymphatic system.
It is recommended that you drink at least 1.5 litres of water on the day of treatment and on subsequent days to assist in the elimination process.
Recommended treatment: Intensive treatment of 4 to 6 sessions (1 session per month) for accumulative results.
There is no pain or downtime.
You will begin to see a reduction of the treated fat bulge approximately three to four weeks after treatment. Your body will continue to metabolize crystallised fat cells for up to six months after the treatment and you will see your best results then.
To maintain your newly sculpted shape, it is important to maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle. Consuming more calories than the body needs will result in more fat being stored in the body and replacing fat cells destroyed by the treatment process.
This treatment is for individuals who have specific localised fat bulges that is stubborn and cannot be reduced even after dieting and/or exercise.
Body Curve Cyrosculpt is appropriate if there is more than two centimeters (close to 2/3 of an inch) of fat palpated between two fingers. For those with lesser fat deposits, the Double Chin Reductor treatment using the Medical Indiba® System is more appropriate.

- Impaired peripheral circulation in the area to be treated
- Open or infected wounds
- A hernia or history of hernia in the area to be treated or adjacent to treatment site
