Spider veins (commonly known as thread veins or broken veins) are small yet unsightly clusters of thread-like veins which lies near the surface of the skin. These unsightly clusters of veins are generally caused by heredity, pregnancy, ageing, sun damage and overall weight gain.

At Shens Therapeutics, our IPL Spider Veins treatment can help you in reducing the thorough appearance of the unsightly spider veins and arms by getting rid of the pigmentations. Further, leaving the surrounding skin tissue unharmed and accelerating your skin's collagen production.

The treatment is safe, painless and non-invasive. The IPL Spider Veins treatment can be completed in a short duration of just 15 minutes.

Benefits

  • Reducing the appearance of spider veins
  • Stimulate skin’s collagen production
  • Evens skin tone and lighten pigmentation
  • Minimises pore size
  • Non-invasive, painless and zero downtime

A new generation of Intense Pulse Light (IPL) System is applied to your treatment area. The short and safe pulses of high-intensity broadband light promote collagen production in the dermis, reducing the appearance of the spider veins and restore skin to a more youthful state. Our advanced IPL System carefully controls the delivery of energy – both wavelengths and intensity – to treat your specific skin condition such as fine lines and wrinkles, dull skin, age/sun spots, spider veins and hyperpigmentation.

Recommended protocol: Intensive treatment (3 to 5 sessions weekly), and followed by the maintenance (one session per month).

The treatment is painless with no downtime. You would be able to observe immediate results of the overall reduction in the appearance of spider veins for the treatment areas. Results are cumulative, and regular treatments will result in long term improvements.

With the completion of the treatment protocol, the appearance of your skin will also improve progressively, as collagen restructured and rebuilt and pigmentation lightens.

Avoid tanning 2 weeks prior to the treatment.

Following treatment, you will need to apply sunblock and avoid the sun over the next 2 weeks or longer and avoid using exfoliating scrubs on the skin for the first week.

This treatment is suitable for all skin types.
